Hi,
I took this off the AOL Genesis board, and asked Pat's permission before posting it (he's an employee of WEA, which many of us know is Warner Elektra Atlantic, who has been Phil's label, both in the US (well, Atlantic has) and the rest of the world, since prior to Both Sides) -- Linda Darling

Hot off the press....Phil's new album "Dance Into the Light" is scheduled for a street date of October 15th! Produced by Phil and Hugh Padgham it includes the following musicians. Daryl Stuermer on guitar, Brad Cole on keyboards, Nathan East on Bass, Backing vocalists Amy Keys and Arnold McCuller and also features guitarist Ronnie Caryl. The first single is "Dance Into the Light" which will be released in mid September. Quoting Phil from the release book...."Both Sides" was a very personal, sad, dark album if you like, This new record is a turnaround in that it's really up and optimistic, which is the way I feel at the moment." The video was directed by Stephane Sednaoui who also produced U-2's" Mysterious Ways" and the Chili Peppers "Give It Away". She's also done vids with Alanis, Bjork, Pumpkins and Madonna.
I did have the good fortune to have dinner with Nathan East a few weeks ago before a Fouplay show and he tells me that Chester and Daryl will stay on with Genesis in some capacity. He also told me Phil is working on a jazz project and had just done some jazz festivals in Europe. To my knowledge Quincy has nothing to do with this record.
Soon as I get a track listing I'll post it!
