Hi there to all Paperlaters,

This is the very first time I'm writing to the list, maybe because it is the first time I've got something really interesting to say.

Did anyone go to the Phil Collins Big Band concert in Perugia?? Well, I did and it has been a VERY VERY special evening for me , and for all the people who were there that evening.

It was a big surprise to hear songs such as Invisible Touch, That's all, Sussudio, Against all odds, In the Air Tonight, played and arranged as really and pure JAZZ songs. I hardly recognized some of the songs.

Hand in hand and The West side, sounded great with the support of the big horn section of 15 people, and Nathan & Brad were at their Top.

But the very Big Big and I say BIIIIIIGG surprise was to hear a piece of music that i never ever Thought I could hear at a concert like that (and never ever again with Phil on the Drums):

...............................LOS ENDOS............................

It was after a new performance of the famous Drum Duet (with percussionist Luis Conte ) that we realized that they were going to perform Los Endos, and it was then that the crowd exploded with a very big applause.

I must say that this concert (in my very own personal opinion) is the answer to all the questions about Phil's depart from Genesis; he has moved to a new direction (the new album will contain some kind of World music too), and i think that WE as Fans and Supporters , have the Duty to support this man that has written (and will write) some of the best pages in the history of Rock and Pop music to date.

I hope I didn 't annoy anybody reading this message.

Alexander Carmassi

P.S: I think that i will never forget this night, never.
