Hi,

I have managed to figure out what most of that article means, and here are the main points:

The only reason that people are so interested in reports about the new singer is that the singer is Phil Collins and the band is Genesis and the new singer is Ray Wilson. That's exciting.

After they got this from a first hand source in England and reported it in their Rock Pop News section [apparently the publication reported it once before] we could not imagine what would happen. We were the first and the only to report it, and it brought on a storm of phone calls and faxes from all media outlets in Germany. The best part was when Virgin Records called us for confirmation so they could tell the management of Stiltskin, the old band of Ray Wilson. It is said that the old band had to find out from the press reports.

Ray Wilson's voice sounds like the young Peter Gabriel so that shows what direction Genesis wants to go it. First a new album to spotlight the new singer. Phil Collins's future is unclear--he wants to do something fun. One of the fun projects is working with a german big band.

Then the report goes on to say that it is sad that Stiltskin will die, but soon no one will care about Stiltskin. That's too bad.

No guarantees that the translation, or the facts, are correct. I am skeptical.

Jack
